History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. She keeps her blonde hair in a pixie cut. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Harriet hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Through the years after Harriet was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Harriet's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and retire the richest woman in the south

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she is greedy
