Description: A 5'3" southern woman, she is dressed in earthy colors with a black and tan handkerchief worn on her left side. She has golden hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. The war was a terrible time for her, and Shautha does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He sports a flattop fur cut. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to pay off her debts

Description: She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body, and she perpetually has her crossbow ready. She wears her golden hair down. Her eyes are green and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is fixated on the number 13. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born in the east to a Cook, Ar-Pratu learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to share knowledge with the world
