History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and seeks redemption
