Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Ernest will drive conversation. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Bryseis was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Barbena and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. After a long history of fighting, Elegant and her spouse have recently divorced.
