Personality: Cimer is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Diesa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. After a long history of fighting, Diesa and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Butcher responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and money/treasure
