History: Ranala was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Born to a Butcher, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Az-Rans fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He got into the Sage business at a young age. A freak accident while working with his Painter father left him crippled. He became a Sage soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult.
