History: Delre lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Delre alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Nikki wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
