However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

History: Marbas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

This search led him directly into Gardener work with an outfit from a few towns over. Gardener work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Gardener job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
