History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Orianna was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Orianna decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Barkeep kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Nella lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is greedy
