Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Menny embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A gifted student she started as a Miller, but she got bored and became a Stylist. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
