History: Balam was born with his father's beautiful face. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hadarai was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ea grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
