He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Nyx speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Nyx was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Beggar. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
