History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Crown-heir.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Serpent was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Serpent's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has worked as a Carter like her father before her.
