Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Merihim grew up listening to his father's many stories. After coming to the age of reason, Merihim took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her auburn hair is wavy and long. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mumpena fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new shepherd responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
