History: Nelkin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Nelkin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Mercenary. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Eggren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: An older man who wears a green costume with the symbols of luck on his torso, he is not a threatening figure. He has white hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his white eyes.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Paymon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Paymon never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents enrolled him in a Warrior school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
