History: John hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: She wears bulky tan painted plate armor. She has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Pyntle's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in the north to a Detective, Pyntle learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: This younger middle-aged man is typically in his Map Maker uniform, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His red hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Gomory was born with his mother's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Description: He stands about 6'1" and wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep red.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ahrim grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
