History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. Malquis was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Spice Merchant. She's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
