History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His childhood dream was to be a Gardener, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tordrid was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tordrid fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
