History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. She wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, marred by teas. Her black hair is thinning but still full. Her eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over. Beggar work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has achieved small success as a Beggar.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He is greedy; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Nimble lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: She wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during, and carries hand crossbows. She wears a colorful flower in her blonde hair. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jarsali grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jarsali fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
