History: Phann was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Barakas is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: She tends to wear a large blue jacket. She has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. She wears a Stetson hat to hide her balding. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her amber eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Veloptima embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and wants a kiss
