History: Diesa was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Mercenary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mercenary work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears skinny pants and wears a white and blue robe with the hood down. He wears his auburn hair down. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Through the years after Rûg was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Rûg's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He bought a nunchaku and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and revenge

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Juliana has worked very hard to control her curse. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She is content; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Adrik lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
