History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When Elegant reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

History: Born to a Knight, her father struggled to pay the bills. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Shifting and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Millicent's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Millicent lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
