Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult.

History: Paymon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Paymon was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and to pay off his debts

History: Born in the east to a Shipwright, Malquis learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Mumpena lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
