History: Kristryd was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Kristryd alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.
