Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Iados lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Jocelyn enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
