History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barkeep. He now owns his own business.

His hair is long and auburn with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Umpen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
