History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Cook kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: She wears long strands of jet and short red dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. His chestnut hair is braided into rings. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Locksmith and was forced into it by his family; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
