History: Born to a Glassblower, her father struggled to pay the bills. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Joser has worked very hard to control his curse. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rinn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rinn. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Barrister responsibilities is difficult; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
