History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Leaf was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Leaf's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Balimaar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers
