His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is an amazing painter.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a tanner and was forced into it by his family

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: Nuthra was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Nuthra has worked very hard to control her curse. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
