Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ortegar grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her lance, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. Her red hair is lengthy. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are violet.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Loopmottin was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Masseuse work with an outfit from a few towns over. Masseuse work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and seeks redemption

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bellfounder. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bellfounder.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Agnes and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
