Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Hugh liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He keeps his long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Theobald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Elves. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He has the majority of his body covered in plate. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to be a doctor again

Description: She has a missing right leg. She very much looks the part of a Layabout. She has wavy silver hair. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. She's also a talented Painter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has styled his silver hair well, parting it to the left. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
