History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Don was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Tawna and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
