History: Born to a Miller, his father struggled to pay the bills. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
