History: Verna lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Servant and was forced into it by her family; and to unite with her brother

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order.
