History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A freak accident while working with his Stableman father left him crippled. During his travels, Shamash and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shamash discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Shamash fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Vorka and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She bought a shield and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
