History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Eleanor speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Eleanor is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered singing. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Personality: She is a Courier first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has achieved small success as a Courier.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her red hair is thinning but still full. Her fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents enrolled her in a Ranger school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is greedy
