History: She was born into a rich family. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Sweet alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

When her mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Valida began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Valida was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.
