During her travels, Engong and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Engong discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Engong fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born in the west to a Performer, Alex learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He struck the Performer job and began his own company from there.
