History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Himo grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Himo. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears dull brown sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed hammer, just in case. Her fur is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a simple white robe with tan stripes complete with hood. His hair is cut close to his head. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born in the south to a Map Maker, Nelkin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Healer, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Map Maker like his mother before him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. Her cinnamon fur is heavily combed to the right. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.
