History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Kelter never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a Cook, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student he started as a Cook, but he got bored and became a Painter. He's also a talented Cook, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A middle-aged woman, she is wearing a tight brown one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape, and is pretty ugly. She has beige fur. Her eyes are yellow and catlike.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Cook arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Cook work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cook work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: To be a Seamstress again; and balancing her hectic life and new cook responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Spice Merchant again.

Description: This malnourished man wears baggy green pantaloons and a blue scarf. He has styled his white crest well, parting it to the right. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
