History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Engraver, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: Anne wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was born in the east. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Aym hails from a village terrorized by drow. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Aym alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it.
