History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Sage arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Arannis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He became a Body Guard soon after.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Shifting and her spouse have recently divorced.
