History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ermina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Baern was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a grey shirt, with a red mid length shorts with red tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, and is pretty ugly. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Ulfgar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Ulfgar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and many goblins want her driven away
