History: Tordek lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: He stands about 3'11" and wears dull brown sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed dagger, just in case. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His golden hair is cut short. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Barendd hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Barendd was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He wears his golden hair up in a very large beehive style do. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Calcitro has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Calcitro fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mason and was forced into it by her family; and wants to raise her children well

History: Semyaza hails from a village terrorized by drow. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
