Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His white hair is thinning but still full. This hazel eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Being a Mason kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: He has a missing left arm. He wears suspenders and blue workpants. His shirt is red, and he wears a heavy blue leather apron most of the time. His chestnut hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are green.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Oppleby and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'7" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She likes to wear ponchos typically of a light tan in addition to tight pants. She wears a feathered hat to hide her balding. Her eyes are likewise blue. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.
History: Gifted from a young age, Mara studied abroad. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She bought a pickaxe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs. Her hair is long and silver with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small brown clips. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Expand her business; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions
