When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: Qualen speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Qualen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Andraste was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Andraste decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
