Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kelter embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kelter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: This tall, slender man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His auburn hair is still thick. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Tûkâ's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: The child of a Knight, who enjoyed hunting, Tûkâ was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He bought a club and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she is wearing a tight black one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. She keeps her long black hair kept up in a rat tail. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

History: Jezebeth lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stylist and was forced into it by her family; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Huru grew up listening to her father's many stories. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Bookbinder again; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is her passion
