She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. After months of barely getting by, Abad managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
