History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Kadana was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kadana's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: To be a Scribe again; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He is a Bricklayer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Gale lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. One day when Gale was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Gale was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He got into the Slave Trader business at a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Slave Trader for hire.

Personality: She is mildly Tabaxi supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born in the west. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and balancing her hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tailor. He has achieved small success as a Tailor.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to open a new tavern
